I have always loved ice cream — it’s been my comfort food and my reward after a long day. But after years of eating store-bought ice creams daily, I started noticing my health declining and my weight creeping up. Most commercial ice creams were filled with refined sugars, preservatives, and unnecessary additives that left me feeling sluggish and guilty.
When I decided to take my health seriously through exercise and clean eating, I still wanted that daily scoop of happiness. I didn’t want to give up ice cream which was my nightly source of happiness — instead, I wanted to reinvent it. So I began creating my own gelato recipe: one that was creamy, indulgent, and satisfying, yet healthy enough to enjoy every single day without calling it a “cheat.” That’s how my guilt-free, protein-packed gelato was born — a dessert that nourishes both body and mind.
